*** B A D H A B I T***

.....Being addicted to doing something that's not nice means having a bad habit.Everytime you think about stopping ,you seem to want to do it more and more.People get addicted to their habits by practicing them. The less you practice a bad habit, the less important it becomes to you.

....Some tips for breaking a bad habits are: make up your mind to quit, ask for help and get active.Do lots of interesting things like bloggging, watching tv, reading books, go out with a friend, make your self busy and you wont think so much about what you should'nt be doing.Reward your self when you know you're on the right track.Plan a special treat.Do something new you really enjoy.Feel good about the new you.....

It is'nt easy but if you really want to stop, you can do it.Are you ready to quit now???

You know, Eden, what you need around here to spiff things up is a photo or two. Nothing real drastic, just a photo of things that interst you. Do you know how to post photos?
Warm regards,
John

i am ready or maybe not. you know i have an addictive nature that is why i never go near anything that will not be good for me in the long run. at least right now my addiction is coffee :) that shouldn't be too bad.
good advice.

Good advice,Eden , We became so programmed- that life does indeed turn into a serious of habits, some good and some bad. I have my share of bad ones like everyone else, and think that I should give them up completley but then I don't see abstinence as the best form of control for all things. Real control for me is things in moderation with the abilty to stop if and when I want to. A bit of a tough call.

Good thoughts, Eden. But, it made me wonder..Knowing that you are trying so hard to quit a habit - can the pursuit of "something good" become an addiction in itself?

Hi. Thanks for the visit. My addictions are to the two free photo-posting sites: Flicker.com and Buzznet.com
My bad habit is that I keep reccomending them to people who visit my blog! (They're cost free, easy to set up and both will post direct to your blog. I'm a computer luddite but I worked it out.)

For me it's easy to quit, as i live a detached life from all the materialistic objects:)
