*** M I N D ***

...Sometimes I have trouble making up my mind. And when I do,I worry about making a mistakes.Everyone has trouble making decisions now and then, but if beating around the bush is getting to be a habit, you may need to spend sometime thinking about how you feel about everyday things.Learning to make little decisions is a big step toward making big ones.

How about you,do you know your own mind???

Hello Eden, Thanks for visiting my blog.

I grew up on a farm outside of Ponoka, and lived most of my young life in Calgary! Nice to meet a fellow Albertan.

What you say in this post is possibly more wise than you realize. One of the interesting things that Freud said was that a person's ego, or sense of him/her self, is based upon decision making. The more decisions you make the stronger your ego, and the less the weaker. A person with a very weak ego finds it nearly impossible to decide between two equal routes to take, whereas a stronger person can just flip a mental coin. So the advise you give is very true and good.

I'll come back to read some more of your postings.

hmmmm...thats a very intelligent post.
usually i decide pretty quickly but there are times when its pretty hard to choose between the options. it happens when i don't know what to begin with.
"Learning to make little decisions is a big step toward making big ones."...i'm going to remember this...thanks.

I've used a lot of my single life to get to know myself, however certain events in life can make you look at things from a diff. perspective. its good to make a little time for some peace and quiet and listen to your inner voice.
thanks for visiting my blog :)

Couldn't decide whether to comment or not.

Then I decided not to.

Then I thought I would and I did.

Then my mind said, Do I know you?

Nice blog, and some tricky questions. And thanks for your comment on mine.

:-)

hello Eden, tks for the compliment re: picture.I think I know my mind and decisions are not too difficult for me to make , but there is one major challenge ie controlling my mind, its wayward, it seeks when it should be still, it wants when there is no need , it grasps when there is nothing to grasp. Now on a mission -how to contol my wandering mind :), I think this will last a lifetime.

thanks for your comments on my blog. these are some interesting thoughts. kind of confusing though. I know my mind, but sometimes I think my mind doesn't know me! where do some of these thoughts come from? I don't know. and neither does my mind ;)
are you confused yet?

I know my mind all too well - that is half of my problem half of the time!

Always, always, always go with that first gut feeling.

Minds, minds, minds...yes, indeed, the mind problem; let's put aside the fact that we still don't really know what exactly the mind is. Having said that, I don't think we can truly know ourselves if we don't truly know how others see us.

Start with trying to put yourself in other's shoes, ask yourself; what would so and so do etc. It helps to escape the confines of your mind sometimes, like taking a vacation.

I try to make decisions based on stength and genuine desire, and not on fear, especially fear of making mistakes.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, by the way!

The mind is in a state of permanent evolution. So can you ever know your mind?

Hi Eden..

its not that easy...really..

pero kung ikucompare ko ang sarili ko chaka nung bata pa ko,masasabi kong maturity makes me firmer...

i follow my instinct often,to avoid torturing myself :)

Hello Eden! In decision making I always think of my family, kung alin ba dapat ang importante. Pero sometimes case to case basis talaga yan.

natural naman ata talaga yuung nag wowory na magkamali kaya yun ang nagiging dahilan kung bakit di kaagad nakakapag-decision or nagkakaroon ng last minute changes sa decision. dont be afraid to makes mistakes kasi dyan tayo matututo. pero kung alam mo na ang magiging decision ay mali talaga, better change your mind nalang :)

sabi nga sa multiple choice exams, when i doubt, don't change your answer haha!

my mind spends a lot of time thinking but i often go with my gut feeling in the end. it sometimes ends disastrously but i guess i just have to charge it to experience (read: matigas kasi ang ulo ko!)

whatever you need to decide on, good luck po ;)
